We are part of the DPS Group, a large fruit and salad supplier to UK retailers. Our system is operational at Berry Farming Ltd, one of the DPS companies, where we grow strawberries under 6 hectares of glass.
As such we are already supplying national multiple retailers with year-round British strawberries. We partner with our customers on a long term basis, creating shared business plans, enabling us to make bold investments as we grow our capacity and continue to invest in even smarter technology.
We will be expanding capacity in the coming years and rolling out even better technology so customers can enjoy outstanding quality strawberries every day of the year at a compelling price, safe in the knowledge that we are also transforming the sustainability of berry production.
Our Matrix-GS™ system is producing outstanding strawberries at Wicks Farm, the home of Berry Farming Ltd. Wicks Farm is situated south of Arundel in West Sussex, where we enjoy some of the best natural growing conditions in the UK – naturally high light levels are further boosted by the proximity of the sea. The climate here is often the warm days and cooler nights that strawberries love. And when nature decides to do something different – really hot and dry or very cold and wet – the protection of the glasshouse and our ability to adjust the growing conditions within, means we can protect our plants from the associated stress and allow them to simply focus on producing delicious strawberries.
